Death at the Bar | Ngaio Marsh
1 post | 6 read | 2 to read
A cosy game of darts in a cosy English pub is going well until one of the players dies on the spot. Chief Inspector Alleyn knows it wasn't the dart that killed him, but the prussic acid someone added to the cut.

Pickpick

Inspector Alleyn and his loyal Fox look into the death of a barrister in a country pub. It was fine? It's solid, but nothing really remarkable about it. It's chronologically the next Marsh I hadn't read, but not one I'll likely remember.

Ruthiella Perfect for the prompt! 🎅🏻💀🎄🔪 I‘ve read Marsh before but have no memory of detective or plot with one exception-one featured Morris Dancing which I found fascinating. 1mo
RaeLovesToRead I need to get back to this series! 1mo
Sparklemn I have the same mug! It‘s my new favorite. 1mo
