🎉We made it through another year, friends.🎉

I got Covid for Christmas but I'm very fortunate that it feels like I had a cold 4 days ago & I'm just dealing with the lingering cough and stuffiness. No medicine has been needed but my attention span hasn't been fantastic so I'll try recapping over the weekend. I wish you all good books & good health and great adventures. Maybe even have a few shenanigans just to remind ourselves that we're alive.

As 2021 comes to an end, I would like to send a heartfelt thank you to all of my Litten friends out there. I have/am in a few groups and I just adore each of you (I would tag but it's way too much).

I know we (as a nation) are going through a lot, but I find solace in knowing there are so many sweet, kinda caring people out there.

I plan on spending my New Year at home with my husband and babies (hopefully reading a little too)

@BarbaraJean so excited for this list! There are several on it that I‘ve read and loved, and it has a wonderful mix of NF, poetry, fantasy, ya, and literary fiction. I love the idea of starting the year with poetry so the Mary Oliver will be first and then likely one of the middle grade that I can read together with my son and then the Golem and the Jinni. @monalyisha #newyearwhodis

New Year, new Proposed TBR! I did my personal themes, like last year, but I also want to give a couple of Litsy challenges a try. So, this month I have a book I didn‘t get to last year, but really wanted to (re)read, 1 for IRL book club, 4 for #readingasia2021, 2 for #booked2021 #winter. There‘s no challenge overlap, but six of these count for #MountTBR and puts me 4200 pages closer to my goal of 50000 pages. 💖 #dreambig

So it is just past midnight which means it is January 1st. Which means I got to open my #bestof2020 swap. Thank you to @candority for not only organizing this swap but for spoiling me! I love the Goodreads recaps at the end of the year ❤️ This is my 2019 reading wrap up! Because of big life changes coming in 2020, I know my goal will be less than the goal of 75 I had in 2019, but still trying to decide on that final number 😬

Unfortunately I had a really busy month in December and I only read and finish one book on my December tbr. I haven't read any new authors in December either. My Favorite part of the WinterGames was the #WGGuessTheBook I had a lot of fun in that game.

Happy New Year friends! I had a pretty good reading year. Favourites include: The Lady Rogue, The Cold Is In Her Bones, Serpent and Dove, Great Goddesses, The Tenth Girl, Daisy Jones and The Six, Loves Lives Here, The Martian, and City of Brass. I always set my Goodreads goal at 100 books and then bump it up if necessary/I want to! What was a favourite read of yours this year? What‘s your 2020 goal?
