Well this was delightful! I have had this in my downloads for years, and just decided to give it a go. What fun protagonists, and unique premise for the series! (A lady spy/detective with her maid who is an expert in martial arts) Their repartee and friendship is so refreshing, and they are terrific sleuths. I‘m going back to start listening to the whole series!

Cheryl_Russell_BookNotes It‘s a fun series. 🙂 1mo

I picked this up for $0.99 on sale on Audible and it was definitely worth it for that price. This was a cute, short, Christmas cozy. I wasn‘t familiar with this series before but it was easy to just jump in and figure out who was who. The narrator did a great job with different accents to help differentiate among the many characters.

I know this is totally off season, but l was looking for something quick to listen to and l chosen this on the sole base of the time.

Enjoyed it a lot. It's such a lovely story. Lighthearted, but so well-written. Not a murder mystery, just a mystery with a surprisingly large cast of characters, all of them great and so real.

The end was so unexpected and sweet.

Angitron I love the Lady Hardcastle books so much! They‘re my go-to when I need something light and charming! ❤️ 5y
JazzFeathers @Angitron lt's my first read from this series, but it won't be the last. I loved it. 5y
