Pickpick

I was cautious when I started reading. Too many bail-worthy reads lately, so despite a promising plot summary, I didn't want to get too excited in case it was disappointing! But it wasn't! It was interesting, even gripping at times, and all the characters were so human, so relatable, even if I have been lucky to never have those circumstances. But it was like I knew them, so I was committed. What a wonderful way to feel about a character! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Elisa @MrBook thank you! 8y
Elisa @jessdean it was surprisingly enjoyable, especially after all those times when just a chapter of two in I knew it was a definite "Nope" ? And I got it through my free Kindle Unlimited trial, so it was a nice way to end that ? 8y

Probably the last book from my Kindle Unlimited trial, which expires in under a week and which I don't plan on renewing. But this sounds interesting, so I'm diving in!
