Honestly... wtf even is this book? It‘s like the author threw every literary fiction cliche into a blender, poured the resulting word slurry onto the page and called it a day.

I almost started to think it was a parody of literary fiction novels, but ultimately it‘s not smart enough to pull off that con job.

I‘m here to keep this month of queer lit going... though to be fair I still read a lot of queer lit all year round. In June I read ONLY queer books.

Staycation Day 2: I was way to early for a meeting at my local coffee shop, so I cooled my heels with a frozen hot chocolate and a book... jury‘s still out on the book but the frozen hot chocolate was great.

I got my hands on an ARC of this beauty... I‘m a little terrified to read it because I love ‘The Night Circus‘ so much... but that‘s not stopping me from dropping everything to read it immediately.

I bought myself this book as a birthday present and I‘m finally settling in for some serious reading.

While I am very much enjoying this book... I must fervently disagree with the author. Winona Ryder is THE definitive Jo March, and NOTHING you can write will ever convince me that casting her was anywhere near a mistake.
