Reading this book is giving my multiple translations a workout. Yesterday “The Gospel of St. Thomas” was thrown into the mix. This book is definitely going to take a while.

I showed this book to the boyfriend yesterday and told him I was having a difficult time with it and I had to finish the book of Judith before moving onto the next section. Because of my lisp he thought I said Judas. Then I started talking about Tobit and the extra parts of Esther. And his eyes glazed over. So if you are only familiar with the “Protestant” Bible be warned before reading this, and get a copy of the Apocrypha before digging in.
