#LitsySciFiBookClub #Read2025 This was not a case of me disliking the book. In fact, I think it was interesting and extremely well written. This is a case of having lost someone dear to me very recently, and deciding that it was not healthy for me to listen to this book. Actually, it was nearly 5 years ago, but I found myself ruminating on what it would be like if I could have a do over and I have stopped playing that head game with myself.

This was one of the better books of the series. Even though I didn't like Nesta in any of the other books of the series, she grew on me. Thanks to @StayCurious for hosting this series #Acotar #LittensLoveRomance. #Read2025 #SeriesLove25 @DieAReader @TheSpineView @Andrew65

A YA retelling of Thelma and Louise, where two teens with horrible home lives decide to split town and go somewhere where they can live on their own terms. Some things were improbable, but not really outlandishly so. If you can just go along for the ride, it‘s entertaining enough!

A cute summer read! Really captures the anticipation and angst of summer romances.

First book read in June and it was a good one. Absolutely loved the characters in this book. The story was good. Enjoyed and will continue on with this series. I already purchased the next book in the series. 4.5⭐️ #SeriesLove2025 @Andrew65 #Read2025 @DieAReader

From the cover, you‘d think this is a fluffy summer read, or at least I did! But it‘s more mystery, with secrets and betrayals, and very light on romance. It was good though! Not what I was expecting, but it kept me turning the pages!

I decided to read this Novella and liked the characters. My first book for #FoodandLitGreenland @Catsandbooks @Texreader #Read2025 @DieAReader #SeriesLove25 @TheSpineView @Andrew65 it's #16 of the series but it didn't matter. The story was interesting. #ISpyBingoMay gave me 1 bingo spot. @TheAromaofBooks

Finished last week for #SheSaid Elizabeth Packard was an amazing woman who I knew very little about until this book. She did so much to fight for her own rights but even more to fight for the rights of the voiceless—women & those with mental health issues, or really rather, those who were judged to be insane but were not & typically forced into asylums by husbands or male family members to silence ⬇️

Finished last week for #Roll100 (#40: Any ARC) & the second in the Miss Prentice's Protégées series, this one features Lottie who keeps losing governess jobs with her unladylike behavior as she borrows horses from her employers & fights advances from her latest employer‘s son. Miss Prentice thinks she‘d be better suited as a ladies companion & sets her up with a challenging dowager who can‘t/won‘t keep a companion. ⬇️
