pickFinished this adaptation of a multi-Doctor Missing Adventures novel and it was very good, just not quite as strong as the original. Plus, they cut my favourite line: "The entire universe is at stake and I‘m locked in here with another incarnation of myself, and not even one of the good ones!" Still, I love that Big Finish is bringing these novels to life, and I hope they continue with these adaptions (they really need to do Just War next).
The latest Doctor Who Big Finish audio to grace my iPod is an adaptation of the Missing Adventures novel Cold Fusion. A Fifth Doctor story co-starring the Seventh Doctor and his New Adventures companions, the book is one of my favourites. I was curious how it would read when removed from the larger continuity of the two book series since the original relies so heavily on the NA story threads involving 'The Other', but so far it works on its own.
