Objectively not a good book, but reminds of the best 80s paperbacks:

- Terrible, awful irredeemable protagonists
- Paper thin characters used as pawns to drive action
- Body Horror that is on the borderline of gross
- Violence for violence‘s sake
- Questionable politics/philosophies -->regressive
- No sense of morality or reflection

Did wish it ended on a question rather than an answer, but that's western writing for you, wouldn't exactly rec.
