Have you ever tried to read a different genre? I don't read non-fiction very often, so this one wasn't an easy read for me.
It's about the first world war and about mostly about the problems about reality and the reality the newspapers wrote.
It was difficult to read, how often wrong information was published and that the people had to believe it.
