After reading Romeo and Juilet in school, I always have lived it, when someone comes along and adds vampires, it's a concept.
I was looking forward to reading this, but didn't expect it to practically be a retelling of the original, with the exact same storyline, just with vampires. I do like the added bits with vampires, but I dont like that it's practically the same, I wish the author had said it in her own words and way, with the same themes.
