Welcome to Litsy!

I'm not exactly sure what I wanted from this book, but for the most part I didn't find it. Some of the essays were great but most were not for me. Overall the book felt very dated, even less than 10 years after publication - this stuff has moved really fast. (And, it turns out, publishing your chat logs was a passing fad that, in my opinion, didn't read well at the time and definitely hasn't aged well.)

And apparently also post to Litsy bc I‘m extra mad about it. I love these deep conversations about hard times and hurts and low-key self-protection from trauma, and also hate that my people are so good at it. #queervoices #queerbooks #queerlives #queerlove

The sheer diversity of life stories is amazing to me. On top of it, the book is a collection of many different genres, which makes it even more interesting. This is really going push to the reader to expand their horizons.
