Mehso-so

I‘m finding this one really difficult to rate. I loved the main character, Perveen, Bombay‘s first female lawyer, and I thought the descriptions of place and culture were really strong. But I also got really bored. The mystery was pretty run of the mill and suspense from the flashbacks was non-existent, as the outcome was pretty obvious. Some of the writing just felt clunky and it came very close to a DNF. A bit disappointing really
