Epistemology: A Beginner's Guide | Robert M. Martin
2 posts | 1 read
Epistemology is the philosophical study of knowledge. Without knowledge, scientific enquiry is meaningless and we cant analyse the world around us. But what exactly is it and how do we obtain it? Presuming no prior experience of philosophy, this book covers everything in the topic from scepticism and induction to Kants transcendentalism.

I can‘t rave about this, but it does what it claims to do. I feel more comfortable now with terminology and concepts. And in the recommended readings at the end I found Tversky and Kahneman which I will take as the final prod to dive (back) into Thinking Fast and Slow.

JoyBlue My husband has the biggest crush on Kahneman! 😂 5y
KimHM @JoyBlue So do I since I finished The Undoing Project! (I needed Michael Lewis to explain him to me though 😉) 5y
