Here‘s how I did on the #valentinesdayreadatjon.

1. I finished a 3 book series for #serieslove2025 which was my goal for this readathon.

2. After I finished a series then I decided to start the tagged book because it‘s one of my #roll100 books and I wasn‘t in the mood for another romance novel. I haven‘t written my review for it yet because I just finished it but I enjoyed it and I‘m looking forward to reading my other #roll100 books now.

I read this in my native language, and really enjoyed it! Can't remember the last time I read Afrikaans.
Meyer has this gripping writing style with a lot of tension, drama and politics. Combined with very broken characters, only ever trying their best.
Adding to that; all of his books are set in one of my favourite places: Cape Town.
My only complaint is the fowl language.

Rich, inexhaustible, copious in historical details, the minutia of life in the streets: wet steps, slippery with seaweed;rich in the brilliant analysis of literary luminaries‘ books;rich in dialogue; rich in social & political history; rich in current events, corruption.

A Roma child, found dead in the waters of the Quay, haunts Brunetti. Just know this: the resolution emulates real life.#serieslove2025 #17

“Had a man ever been married to a woman whose moral code was based on a British novel?”

I so adore this series! #serieslove2025

These books always feel like coming home.
I've always loved books with doors and quests. And McGuire gives me a place to go each year that fills the door-shape hole in me that needs filling.
Somehow I've missed this one last year, so I have two doors to go through this year.
I love how each book continues on the previous books, but always have their own adventures in new unknowns.

After what happened in book 1 and 2, Miss Percy and her growing entourage need to bite the bullet and travel to London. Two growing dragons in London, what could possibly go wrong?

The epilogue hints at further adventures.

4.5/5 stars

Here‘s my review for this book series. I finished this for the #valentinesdayreadathon and finished this book series for #serieslove2025. I won‘t be reading another series this month because it took me a while just to read these 3 books.

A touching tribute to her mother and a fitting conclusion to her autobiography. However, I plan to read Letter to My Daughter as well.

#LaneWinslowMystery #serieslove2025 This book is a song to British Columbia, CA: it‘s mountains bathed in rainbows of light at sunrise & sunset, the lush greenery of its woods, its fields of colorful wildflowers,it‘s streams, & swampy humid riverbanks. It offers what war weary,Ex M16 WWII operative Lane Winslow needs,to be tucked away in a sleepy village across the ocean & a continent away. But her seclusion is abruptly interrupted when a man is 🔽

One more books from this month's #bookspinbingo list complete. I love this series, and am only one book away from being caught up with it ... at least until the next one comes out
