I would recommend listening to the audio version of this text - it all sounded so naughty in the narrator‘s posh English accent.
In truth, her story is tragic although she says at times it was fun. She was so young and taken advantage of by many powerful men. Her account of being held captive and raped by Lucky Gordon was shocking. Yet rather than being viewed as victim, she was hounded by press and public as a tart.

gobbling up christine keebler‘s autobiography before i start the BBC series. course, blunt prose suits the startling twists & turns of keebler‘s narrative. fascinating insight into the web of power, politics and sex of the 1960s. loving it so far!
