Dismal is the word I would use to describe my results. The only reason my score was a ten instead of a 2 or 3 is I was forced to read some of these books on the list in school.
My favorites are: A Passage to India and The Great Gatsby.

A quick reminder, in June, we will be reading, or as the case may be rereading, Lover Unleashed book 9 in the series. This book is about Payne, Vishous's sister, and Manuel Manello (Manny) the human doctor. I'm sure we will get some of the other characters' stories too. Looking forward to getting back to this world.

1. Feeling decent today. A little bit of pain in my knee is all. I had my first injection in my back Thursday, so I am trying to cut back on my meds. Fingers crossed that the injections work.
2. I have a doctor's appointment Thursday as a follow-up to the injection. I hope I am finally cleared to ride again. That will be the best for my mental health.

It is storming this morning. Thunderstorms scare my dogs so I have been comforting them with cuddles. I have tried thunder shirts to no avail. They are finally dying down and I can get on with things. My plans are to get a bit of housework done this morning. Lunch with my bestie, which will certainly involve alcohol. pickThis is the latest book, #20, in the Jack Logan crime thriller series. It says something about the quality of the writing, plots and characters that have kept me interested this long. In fact, this is one of the few books series I have stuck with from the beginning. Loved this book as much as the first. Lots of twists and tension to keep you interested. Then the various backstreet to fill in any gaps and make it more interesting. Hoon even makes..

It's 11:20 here and I can't sleep! 😫😬🥱 Starting a new audiobook next. I have two books from the library to start but need an audiobook or ebook. I can't decide between The Ritual by Shantiel Tessier, Play Along by T.L. Swan, Noticadia by Kari Lake, or Reign of a King by Rina Kent. You guys vote and that will be my next book. pickThis is a taboo, age gap romance story with a lot of steam. I liked the characters a lot and wished there had been more development. The plot was good but it too could have used a bit more development. Especially the ending, which I thought wrapped up a bit on the quick side. Overall liked but wanted more.
