I finished another puzzle last night while I was listening to A Million Junes. I find I have to do something while listening to an audio book. So if not cooking or cleaning, puzzling is my favorite activity while listening. ππ§π

This my favorite line so far in A Million Junes by Emily Henry, my current read. So romantic and elegantly written! It just makes my heart skip a bit. Henry has this gift/way with words than I love. She has become one of my favorite authors.

1. Katniss Everdeen for her determination against overwhelming odds and more importantly, her loyalty to her sister when she sacrifices herself.
2. Matilda for her goodness and her intelligence.
3. Hermione Granger not only for her intelligence but her loyalty and love of friends and family.

Happy Tuesday everyone! Here are today's questions. Inspired by lunch with friends yesterday. Food is important to relationships and it made me wonder about food as related to books. Here are my answers.
π₯ Rick Erwin's in Clemson. It is a fine dining restaurant and the food is outstanding. Great for those special occasions.
π΄ Yes. I especially enjoy books were characters are chefs and they describe their passion for food.
Thanks for tagging me Misty! @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks
This is open to anyone who wants to participate. Just tell us 20 random things about yourself. I couldn't find the one from 3 years ago; therefore not sure what I listed differently.
Happy Spring everyone!
This could have been a great story but the plot didn't work all that well and there was not enough depth to the characters for my tastes. Going into this book, I liked the concept of using mental powers to connect with others but it was over done and felt more like fantasy than fiction. Just wasn't what I was expecting. In addition, the ending felt rushed and too perfect for the type of trauma suffered by the characters. 2.5 βοΈ
Throughly enjoyed this historical, feel good, romance. The opening line is, "He never knew what hit him." This totally sums up the book and I was hooked from that first line. Besides the romance, there was plenty of tension to help move the story along and the characters were awesome. 4βοΈ This was March's pick for #LittensLoveRomance @TheAromaofBooks

So many authors to choose from. For fantasy books Sanderson is my favorite but also close seconds are Tolkien and Rothfuss. Also, Blake Crough, JD Kirk, Jeffery Archer just no name a few.

So I live in a small town in upstate SC called Seneca. Population of 8.1K as of the 2010. The town is located on the southern end of Lake Keowee. I live on the lake at the point I circled on the map. The lake is 18,500 acres and has 387 miles of a shore. It is considered one of the most pristine lakes in the southeast. Built by Duke Energy for producing power and is controlled by Duke. This is book 16 and the latest release in the DCI Jack Logan crime thriller series. This one is my favorite so far. There is a new character introduced, DI Tammi-Jo, whom I immediately feel in love with. She has made Tyler into a police God and it made for a few humorous moments. Also, very funny was Tyler's encounter with an old lady's sex toy. It had me roaring with laughter. If you have read any of these books you can understand that..β¬οΈ

A great story. Loved the depth of the characters (except for Gus's ex, whom Idespised) and the realness of them. While not my favorite Henry book, it is close to the top. 4βοΈ

Happy Tuesday everyone! Here are today's #Two4Tuesday questions. Everyone is welcome to play!
My answers:
πΉοΈPluto from the classic cartoon. Also loved Tigger from Winnie the Pooh.
πΉοΈWizard for Hire would make a great Disney movie, I think.

Here are my final results for the #MarvellousMarch readathon hosted by @Andrew65
My goal was to finish Horse and read one other book. I was actually able to finish two other books (Beach Read and Book Lovers). I also worked on Space. I am now 1/3 of the way through this chunkster. Despite a busy week, I managed to read a fair amount.
