Here is my July #BookSpin #DoubleSpin #BookSpinBingo list. @TheAromaofBooks
For the first time, I included two spaces for books from my TBR backlog. I need to make a serious effort to tackle these books.

One of my Dad's favorite sayings was, "Can't never could do anything." This reminded me of him.

So many places I love to visit. However Hawaii has always been at the top of my list.

Here are two things that bring me peace. Sitting/reading on my dock and riding. Both help keep me recharged. ❤️🏞❤️🐎❤️
Want to play? @TheAromaofBooks @Gissy @EadieB Post a picture of what brings you peace.
Doing some audio puzzling today. Currently listening to The Kocked Room by Elly Griffiths, the 4th book in the Ruth Galloway series. Enjoying this one immensely.❤️🌞🎧📘

📘 I am so a mood reader, so I choose what strikes my fancy at the moment.
📘 I have a guide line I follow. 5 stars: loved enough to reread. 4 stars: enjoyed but not enough to read again. 3 stars: OK but nothing special. 2 stars: there were major problems with the plot and/or characters, etc.
📘 Rain! After several weeks with no rain. I woke up to much needed rain.🌧

#Bizarre!
When I saw today's prompt I immediately thought of Gaiman. His books tend to be bizarre, but in a good way. These are my favorites books by him.
This is book 13 in the series. One of the few series I have not lost interest in. I think because Ward continues to introduce new and interesting characters instead of trying to dream up new plots for the same set of characters. This book is mainly about Trez and Selena with some other characters mentioned and their stories advanced. The plot was surprising because it was not your usual HEA. Sometimes we don't get everything we want and that....

These are the prompts for July's #JulyJam photo challenge. The idea is to post a pic of a book, poem, quote, etc. That you feel matches the prompt. Looks to be fun! Hope you can join in.
Happy Tuesday everyone! Here are today's questions. Everyone is welcome to play.
My answers:
👑 Yes, especially historical fiction.
👑 A few come to mind Twilight Empress, Shadow of the Swords, and Abdication.

#MadeYouCry
I use this book anytime someone asks what book made me cry. Because even though no character dies, it is heart wrenching 💔 😭

📕 Non-fiction centered on a person is not my thing. However, I did enjoy this one.

📕 Because fantasy is all made up I can get lost in the world.
📕 Art!🎨

So many loved this book. However, I found it disappointing. The pacing felt off on this one. Some parts moved very quick and others dragged and felt heavy. The ending was almost anticlimactic. It left me wondering if the authors just can out of steam. 2.5/3 ⭐️
Tomorrow is the start of the #20in4 readathon. I have started these two books and they will be my focus for this readathon. With my grandkids arriving soon not sure who much reading time I will have. My goal is to read a little bit everyday, even is only 15 minutes. ❤️📖❤️📕❤️📚❤️

Prompt: Kiss the Girls
How did the end of the month creep up so fast!?! I am definitely in for the #20in4 readathon hosted by @Andrew65
The grandkids are coming for a long weekend on Friday. Probably will not read much but will still try to squeeze a few hours in. I need to get a list of potential books together so I have a game plan for any free time.
#WondrousWednesday @Eggs
📕 So many. Lydia Bennett in Jane Austin's classic Pride and Prejudice comes to mind. She was selfish and just didn't know she had it made.
📕 Even though a minor character Anna, Pino's girlfriend in Beneath a Scarlett Sky. I think the book being based on real life events made her death the hard.
📕 Ron Rash, Susan Boyer, Deb Richardson-Moore, Melinda Long, Jim McFarlane, Jo Watson Hackl, and Kristy Dempsey.
#Movie2BookRecs @Klou
Prompt: The Kissing Booth
It's Tuesday again already! Here are the #Two4Tuesday questions. Anyone can play! Happy Tuesday everyone!
1️⃣ It is a subset of the crime fiction genre that usually features a MC that is deeply flawed. The stories tend to be gritty and deal with the darker side of criminality.
2️⃣ L. A. Confidential by James Ellroy (tagged). A classic in the genre and rightly so. So well written and great character development are what make it a favorite for me.
