pickI really enjoyed this book. The writing felt poetic throughout but still personal and engaging. It was a melancholy mood, and I loved that the main character was a composer and most of the characters were musicians so there was a lot about his connection to music. It‘s billed as “a soul-searching novel of creativity and romantic love.” Not so much on the romantic love but love plays a big part. Tragic ending for one of the characters.
