A well-written book, that provides an exhaustive and yet a very cohesive account of all expeditions that were done to trace the source of Brahmaputra. Each separate threads of stories, well-connected to create an intriguing account of history in a manner that will keep you engaged till the final pages. Starting with Pundit Kinthup and Sarat Chandra Das in 1880 to Lt Col. FM Bailey in 1920s and finally to his own trek tracing Bailey 90 years later.
