Interesting story in a world that gets increasingly complex as the story advances. Told through two POVs, I definitely found one more interesting than the other (and, I suspect, not the one the author would like to have hit harder) until, as is often the case I suppose, everything changes. I‘m being cryptic because I don‘t want to spoil anything. Rousing start to a space opera which features a diverse cast filled with women and queer characters.
