A lot of information on gut microbiota. A lot of the recommendations are pretty much what you‘d expect: eat the rainbow, less processed foods, more fiber less protein. Important thing is to go slow with adding fiber to your diet otherwise you risk gi symptoms. Interesting section on importance of probiotics vs prebiotics.

👆🏼a recipe sample I intend to try. This is a fact-filled look at the why/how of increasing fiber in one‘s diet, hough heavier on the why than the how. A lot of info to process and figure out what to do with it. The Fiber Fueled Four Weeks is an ambitious plan to restore gut health, but my issue is that it‘s based on single portions and is heavily scripted. How am I supposed to adapt that to feeding a family? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Overall +, Need my own copy.

This health plan book looks at the research regarding plant-based foods and their effects on our gut microbiomes, which lead to a myriad of health benefits. The book includes the background, research, and a 28-day-plan to support moving more towards a plant-based food lifestyle. I haven‘t yet tried the recipes, but am excited to begin this journey and feel the information was extremely valuable.
