Until he mentions that this will be our first time alone together. Just me and Micah. And all my fears and doubts... I didn't really enjoy this book too much. I am not a fan of the writing style of the author, even though I love the Anita Blake series - mostly because of the characters even though sometimes the main character irritares me A LOT! In this case the "Strange Candy" which is a compilation of never published short stories by tbe author was not a candy for me. I struggled to get through them and nearly DNFed the book.
