Mehso-so

I did this in audio version. The narrated was not exciting, but perfectly adequate. Did a good job of capturing the unsophisticated nature of the characters.

Very interesting setup (though I'm mildly annoyed the summary gives it away instead of letting you discover what's going on).

The way the plot resolved feels a bit like a cautionary tale for today - that people in power will ignore inconvenient scientific truths.

Pickpick

Not bad, well, thoroughly enjoyable, yeah, lets just go with that. Pandorum, but with way more luck and far less mystery. Characters lack a certain depth, I think that's my real problem, it's an excellent set up and could have been an an absolutely astonding novel, but it was executed far too shallowly. As is, good popcorn Heinlein, but nothing more.
