Today is International Holocaust Remembrance Day. In 2015 I met Ben Fainer, a survivor who spent time in six different camps. He was a sweet lovely man, and I still cry when I look at this photo. Please don‘t forget. 🕯

Bklover @Cinfhen Yes, that sweet man died about a year after that- I don‘t know if you can tell in the pic or not but I‘m crying and he put his arm around me to comfort me. I wish everyone had the chance to sit in a room face to face and hear a survivor‘s story. I felt so honored to hear it. ❤️😘 4y
Cinfhen Awww, now I‘m crying 😭 😭 😭 I‘ve heard and met many survivors, some are actually my friends parents and grandparents- you‘re right, it‘s truly an honor to hear their stories (edited) 4y
