Mehso-so

This book is a depiction of mental illness. On one hand, it‘s effective enough that I think those struggling with mental illness should be aware of that and avoid or embrace this as indicated. On the other hand, this doesn‘t feel new to me. I feel like I‘ve read this book before. Also, the main character‘s age (12) is not consistently written through the book.

BarbaraBB I‘m sure being published was easy for her because she‘s his ex 🤷🏻‍♀️ 4y
Hooked_on_books @BarbaraBB Oh, I didn‘t know that! It‘s not a bad book, just not terribly original. She‘s gorgeous in her author photo! 4y
BarbaraBB I‘ll have to look that up. I recognized her name and know she is a writer too from his books but never read her. 4y

Pickpick

A strange but clever book about mental illness. It's really like reading two very short books, where you get at least some clarity in the second one.
