This was book #22 of 2021 for me. It was a quick read… partially because I couldn‘t wait to find out what happened. I loved the historical setting and detail. While I realize the damsel in distress being rescued by the love of her life is a trope, it didn‘t make this any less fun to read. I enjoyed this easy read!
