The "aux cord" analogy, Part 1 of 2. By "aux cord," Crews is referring to his son's auxiliary cord, which is the cord that is used to connect his son's IPHONE to the speaker in Crews's car. He writes that when someone does this, they control the music that you hear.
The purpose of being tough isn't to attack, but to protect. The purpose of being strong isn't to dominate, but to support. The purpose of having power is not to rule, but to serve.
I can't speak to what the NFL is like today. But the NFL I knew was like prison with money. That's exactly what it was. If you took the roster of any team I was on and you sent them to prison, in two months, they'd be running the place.
Part of proving that you're a real man is covering for dumb shit that other men want to do. One thing I've learned is that if there's a pack of four guys-- even four really good guys-- something stupid is probably going to go down.
