Loved. This. So. Much. Lydia Grey is almost 40, going through a divorce and living with her parents. She still loves her husband and wants him back (he‘s dating again). The list (I won‘t give anything away there) is her key to becoming more adventurous and exciting to win him back. She enlists a Bucket Buddy (Jake) from her dating app (friends only) to keep her on track on this journey. As they work their way through the nine items on the list, 🔻

robinb she (with the love and support of her daughter and their extended hilarious family) begins to see that she has allowed herself to be “grey”, taking a backseat to life (and her husband). As Jake helps her accomplish her goals, he also shows her that she doesn‘t have to be perfect, just be herself. And they both begin some self-healing, both alone and apart from each other. 🔻 2y
robinb This was so wonderful! The characters were quirky, original and just plain lovable (special shout out to Lydia‘s family!). The adventures were fun and hilarious, and there was some serious chemistry going on as well. 🔥 This book is one of those rare gems that you‘re tickled to discover. Recommended. 5/5⭐️ 2y

Not exactly profound, but it just struck me as rather sad and how hindsight is 20/20 sometimes. If I could tell my younger self something…

Enjoying the book. 💙
