Navigating through a world that has just begun revolutionizing and modernizing technology, with the inventions of flying boats, robots, and gadgets that vows to solve any problem, the seventeen-year-old pirate in training left alone for the first time begins an investigation to find him. She and her friends, Jamlson Douglas and Headworth Williams, set out on a quest to find her grandfather. On the voyage, the three of them are confronted with enemies, life-endangering situations and for the first time are faced with the dark side of magic. Oceana soon discovers that the country they live in, Cor'Meum, has been terrorized lately by mysterious people in gas masks.
