I would support a scientific study on why cats feel the need to lay on books.

And this book was ok. I bought it after binging Tomb Raider and was hoping it‘d be like that. It wasn‘t for the most part, but I did enjoy learning more about East Asia in first half of the 20th century. #treasure #historicalfiction #catsoflitsy #petsoflitsy

Angkor Wat. The very name of the place is shrouded in myth and mystery, & it serves as the perfect setting for this historical thriller. We find whip-smart museum curator Irene Blum in 1920s Cambodia after being passed over for a promotion back home. Seeking a lost history to help restore her place, she finds herself enmeshed with several dubious characters and learns that what she thought she was looking for may not be what she ultimately finds.
