Oh, this was an interesting read. I kinda loved how the portrayed a widower haunted by the death of his wife. To see him wrestle with his growing admiration and love for his wife and desire to not repeat the same scenes. The audio was good but I would have loved to have different voices for both characters. #romantsy

I did NOT expect to like this book. It came across Bookbub for 99¢ and I like the author so I thought, 'why not'? There is some angst because of the main male MC, but for the most part they both have good heads on their shoulders so it isn't too bad. The supporting characters are, eh, but you don't hear from them too much. It is a little slow paced at some parts. But overall a quick read, great for a short flight.

Tagged my last finished read of 2017. And my least popular is an ARC that hasn't been published yet. It was an adorable romance.

I loved Adeline! She had such a bright disposition, and she never gave up on Edmond. She took to her new role as a Duchess and made the most of it. Her growing love for Edmond was lovely to watch. Edmond, on the other hand... *Read the rest at my blog - www.ladywithaquill.com*
