The Wedding Party | Jasmine Guillory

Maddie and Theo have been at odds forever. They have to play nice for Alexa's wedding. What happens when they start to really see each other and realize that maybe they were wrong? While I like Maddie, Theo is my boy and I got his back in this one. Maddie is firm the end but gets mad when Theo agrees to what she says. When Theo is down he says some things he shouldn't. That being said, Maddie needed to grovel way more than him. #romantsy

tpixie Lol my oldest daughter is Maddie and my youngest daughter‘s 3 yo son is Theo! 1d
TsundokuAleax @tpixie Those are great name choices. That being said, it might be a weird read just because of the names. 1d
tpixie @TsundokuAleax yes!! Lol 😂 19h

When guys who run away from relationships fall, they fall hard and also eventually mess up. It is to be expected. Weston is stuck at Kendra's till his place is fixed up. They do not get along at all but Kendra still comes to the rescue after an accident. Seeing Weston grow and learn how to open up was amazing. As was opening up about some major trauma that really informs his behavior. #romantsy

Man, did I ever fall in love with these two characters. Edwina is a bit down on her luck but manages to find someone to hire her as their secretary. Michael is attracted to his secretary but finds her mind and how she understands and respects him just as intriguing. The way Edwina felt about Michael's interest in how smart and clever she was, is something I understand on such a deep level and made this book special to me. #romantsy

This book was an eh over all but I love Pierce. He is an amazing emotionally intelligent man. Rain is a bit of a mess from a lot of the things she went through and is hiding. It was a fun but fairly forgettable read for me but seriously read it for Pierce because he is amazing. #romantsy

So I read the last book first but am totally happy with it. I love that Sarah was the nobility while Jeremy was a vicar. To see how these two connected and how much they enjoyed the bedroom was amazing as a wonderful change of pace. While Jeremy did not have a great reaction to the secret Sarah was keeping from him, I love how much he supported her and wanted her to continue by the end of the book. Now to read the other two. #romantsy

I was a bit surprised by this read. It is a darker new adult romance but the book is dealing with some heavy stuff. Daniel has a secret that keeps everyone at arms lenght and Lisanne accidentally figures it out. Daniel's less than stellar home life that goes from bad to worse and Lisanne goes between being helpful and detrimental. These two are high emotional swings that will not be for everyone but I did enjoy the story. #romantsy

Though not quite as the action packed/edge of your seat thrill ride as book 1, this was still an excellent action-fantasy with romance. This is book 2 of a series and does not work as a stand alone. Definitely a series worth investing time in. This does not have a cliffhanger! #epicfantasy #romantsy

Melissa_J Loved the first book, and can‘t wait to read this one. Glad to read that it doesn‘t have a cliffhanger ending. 2d
Beachesnbooks Excited! I'm reading book 1 now 2d
Quirkybookworm What was the name of the first book? 2d

Tinsel | Devney Perry

I love Devney Perry but this was just ok. I think my biggest issue is I‘m not a fan of the poor little rich girl makes good trope. I found the female protagonist annoying and her reformation didn‘t feel fully developed. The male protagonist had a better back story but he was also often hard to like. Overall, not terrible but my least favorite by this author. #romantsy

megnews The cover‘s pretty. (edited) 3d
Nessavamusic @megnews it really is, and actually directly applies to the book 3d

A wonderful adventurous enemies-to-lovers #romantsy between a mage who has sold herself into bond and is sent on a mission to earn her freedom and the son of a Duke turned pirate. 💕
