This is my pick for 1985. Yes, for me this was another re-read. I haven‘t read it since…gosh, 1999 when we lived in England. I fell in love with it all over again! This is without a doubt one of the best romance books penned. This title made me fall in love with historical romance novels way back when! Love the characters, the setting, the humor. It‘s got it all. #19822022 #romantsy @Librarybelle

Blakely & Bowen are queens. This is all the things I love most in a #romcom- witty banter, awkward & hilarious relationship beginnings, sexual and emotional chemistry. It‘s so good that I bought the whisper sync immediately after I finished. The narrators are gold too. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️#romantsy

Nutmegnc I‘m waiting (argh…not patiently) for payday on Friday to buy both the ebook and audio. Cannot wait!! 1d
Nutmegnc Did you read the prequel? 1d
Christy2318 @Nutmegnc Yes! And listened to the prequel audio on You Tube. 1d

Going back to 1994 for this read! I adore Andrea Kane and her historical romances are by far my favorite. I love this story. She truly had the broody alpha hero down pat! Super fast read. #19822022 #romantsy @Librarybelle

Around Christmas time my favorite author said she was trying something new and there would be a surprise winter release! I‘ve selected this book as my 2022 selection! For the 40 year reading challenge!Another new series with great cast of characters and a suspense storyline with plenty of twists! And of course her trademark dialogue and alpha hero! #19822022 #romantsy @Librarybelle

This is part of my 1982-2022 reading challenge. Published in 2007. First in a series. Overall it was a good set up for the coming books mixing witch lore with vampire. So yeah hadn‘t read that yet. I wasn‘t comfortable with some of the vocabulary such as “Fag” and “Retard” but otherwise solid PN read with a dash of romance #19822022 #romantsy @Librarybelle

Even though this isn't my 1st book read this year, it was my first physical book & 1st 5⭐️ this year. This book was incredible & I am in love w/ this story. I love slow burn & this author always delivers. I love how she portrays her MCs. They are always strong but have flaws & trauma. She always does a wonderful job of showing how they deal w/ issues. It had me balling & it also had me laugh out loud. Im also completely in love w/ Rhodes.#romantsy

Oh my, I can see why this book got so much love! I hardly expected to get tears in my eyes from a fictitious election result in a romance book, but this did it. It starts of light and cute and about a third of the way in gets pretty intense (in a good way). There is a coming out story, political intrigue, royals, and finding oneself, all written in a compelling voice. 5❤️ #romantsy

CoverToCoverGirl It was REALLY good. 🙂 4d
tracey38 Yep, and the audio of this one was really good as well. 3d

I've enjoyed every Sally Thorne book I've read, and while I didn't enjoy this as much as I remember liking The Hating Game, I still really enjoyed this.

Our heroine has some major scars from her past, giving up her dreams to play it safe working in a retirement community. The community has great characters, including her BFF and the love interest. They get our heroine to venture out of her comfort zone and find love on the way. #romantsy

Soubhiville You know how sometimes your eyes play tricks on you and you think a picture or word is slightly different than what it actually is when you double take and really focus? I thought the author‘s name was Salty Thorne and I was totally into that. 🤣 oops. (edited) 4d
