It was interesting to see how modern society really has no idea what being a dancer in the Paris Opera Ballet meant back then. Wagner also brought to life Edgar Degas and the mysterious and rather flighty character he could be. However, Alexandrie's obsession with Degas that commanded her every thought started to get on my nerves...
