I cannot say how much I love this series. Tops continues to be an engaging reluctant heroine, quirky and brave and insightful. Her friends make a great mystery solving team, and there‘s always just enough danger and eeriness to keep you reading. As the series develops, a big bad is starting to appear — or is it three? The jury is out on what exactly the story is, but it promises to be an excellent one!

The 3rd installment of the #EdinburghNightsSeries brings a change in venue as Ropa, her friends and mentor all travel to a magical biennial conference bringing together the schools of magic, the librarians & guests from Ethiopia. A theft & murder freeze the conference, giving a sort of locked room vibe as Ropa works to find the culprit. The cast size gets a bit cumbersome for audio but the performance is still great! I wish there were more ghosts!
