pickIn this thriller we follow the story of a young woman's quest for fame and fortune as a drummer in a band. Her home was one of neglect and poverty and she sees her talent as a way out. It is a cautionary tale about that quest, but also an entertaining story with a great twist about midway that took me by surprise. While the plot was somewhat farfetched, I did enjoy it. Thanks to Edelweiss+ for the digital advance reading copy . 3.75/5 stars!

Another hit from one of my favorite authors. This was definitely an edge of your seat thriller. A who done it that I didn't see coming. I also didn't see the second big twist coming. While I do believe this to be geared more toward young adults I did enjoy it.
