pickActually the second issue—and two issues in, this comic is proving to be a compelling mystery set in the Dust Bowl. An intrepid photographer, a sheriff haunted by WWI, a family looking for a better life, & town residents who are just trying to survive. Good story, even better art—this is a gorgeous comic rendered all the more compelling by a muted color palette as dusty as dirt. Rated teen plus & so far, a fun & interesting read.
