Heroine a bit of a sop, engaged to man she's known 3 months, whose mother basically runs his life. Heroine gets annoyed or angry but doesn't really stand up for herself. Architect, aka hero, is brother's best friend and college roommate who heroine had massive crush on at age 14. A little wishy washy, having been burned before and can't let himself trust heroine. You know how it ends of course, and it did keep my interest well enough.
