Golden Hill: A Novel | 
pickA good old-fashioned family saga. I struggled a bit in the beginning to get into this one, and there were just soooo many characters and time jumps that it was sometimes a bit confusing. But once I got settled in it was easy to get immersed in the story. Well, except the one brief left turn into child molestation. Even if the 13 year old child enjoyed it.
