Kneel Before Zod | 
so-soZod is an utterly unsympathetic character. The story begins as Zod is the ruler of New Kandor, when an alien invasion threatens his reign. His son rebels against him and is cast out forever. Later, in a heated battle, his wife is killed. Eventually, Zod loses everything, including his liberty. He manages to ravage his way out of captivity and re-establish his rule. No matter all the trials he suffers, he is just an evil bore.
