pickGood. Fantasy retelling of the little mermaid. It does start with a very close rendition of the Disney version of the story but once you get past that the story really comes into itself. The middle section is full of filler though as most of the action is squeezed into the last couple of chapters but for a debut novel it's got potential. Can't wait to see how this story progresses as the ending is left open for another book.
