What an amazing story. Kay's novels are always historical fiction with 'a quarter turn to the fantastic' in his words and this was a wonderful ride. Set 25 years after the fall of Constantinople- or Sarantium as he dubs it, the novel follows an amazingly human cast through Italy, Turkey and everything in between as they search for art, love and home. #screwyoucharacterlimit
Kammbia1 Children of Earth & Sky is my favorite Guy Gavriel Kay novel. Just a beautiful and thoughtful read! 3y
