Pickpick

When I opened this book, I had no idea what I was going to read. I‘d seen Anne Hagan‘s call for ARC readers and as I‘d meant to read her books for a while, I answered the call.

Mehso-so

Bree isn‘t a celebrity but a cardiologist yet she is being stalked and struggles to escape her (legitimate) fears. The only place she seems to find peace is in the pathologist‘s office. When Bree gets pregnant and marries the father of her child, Morgan is devastated and leaves for a quieter life in the mountains. But fate wants them together.

Secret Chord | Virginia Hale

Wow wow wow. I had to make myself stop halfway to get some sleep before going back to The Secret Chord as soon as I woke up this morning. This novel is a rollercoaster of feelings, emotions and angst and I‘d happily go for more.

How Still My Love | Diane Marina

Pickpick

I read After The Glitter Fades first so I already kinda knew where this was going, and I really enjoyed the way the author went about it. I found myself at times feeling really sorry for Beth and her inability to deal with her insecurity even though there was so much love between her and Toni.

Pickpick

After a few very sweet romances, I was in the mood for something grittier. This is my first book by this author, and I‘m looking forward to the next one, especially as this is the start of a series. It's both romance and a very gripping thriller…

Coming of Age | HollyAnne Weaver
Mehso-so

Imagine having never been attracted to women and then suddenly falling in love with the one who drops her drink on you at the pub. That‘s what happened to Pam. The story is told from her paramour‘s POV. Everything goes very fast, both women professing their love before they even kiss, Pam meeting Sophie‘s parents in a flash, moving together…

Because I Said So | Karin Kallmaker
Pickpick

Second chance romance. Four years after an intense 3 days that ended for the wrong reasons, Kesa and Shannon meet again as Kesa‘s younger sister (whom Kesa has been taking care of since their parents‘ death) and Paz, whose unofficial guardian Shannon has been for a few years, plan to marry.
ARC received from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
