“It's not staying in the same place that's the problem, it's not letting your mind wander.“
Like the first book in the series, it is a short book, fun for a younger audience, filled with a great friendship between a human girl and a ghost, and the two of them going on a frightening but exciting adventure in a foreign city.
The amazing third book in an ongoing series.
Based on Alice in Wonderland. Recommend it to people who like retellings and fantasy-romance novels.
Overall, an interesting Dummies book for training puppies. You can learn from it while still being critical about the information that is said.
I recommend this book to people who would want to adopt a dog, or have a puppy already and are looking for some information on puppies, their behavior, and how to teach them things.
I have always been interested in history, and the life and end of the Romanovs. Helen Rappaport very thoroughly describes the lives of the four sisters, the Grand Duchesses. Through sources, letters and diaries we follow their lives from childhood to growing up as young ladies. The lives they led and the hardships they endured. It was a story full of emotions and acts from the past.
It is written through the eyes of the biologist, which makes some of the notes interesting, such as pointing out the stage of zombification, different types of weapons to use against them, and how it possibly all started.
As a fan of zombie stories, I was intrigued when I found this book. The title alone made me want to read it. A fun, quick read for zombie book fans.
I recommend this book for people who like books with zombies as a subject.
The third book in the series. Good murder mystery and great duo for a true crime, who done it.
I listened to the audiobook, and again, it is a very good narration of the different characters.
I recommend this book after you read the first two and if you are interested in mystery, investigating a crime, who-done-it types of stories.
I listened to the audiobook with a full cast of narrators. Each character had its own narration, which made it sound like I was listening to a theatre production. The story came to life from the pages. The short novel was told as a bedtime story, full of wonder and magic. The music in the background added to that wonderful feeling when I watched the ballet.
A story about new love, family, and creativity.
It is a great romantic contemporary. It is a slow build-up love story with characters who grow towards each other. But still fast-paced. A cute happy-end type of romcom that is perfect for a relaxing afternoon.
I recommend the book to people who like rom-com, chick-lit, and cute romantic stories.
A royal fantasy. A cursed princess with a dangerous touch.
I really flew through the book. It was fast-paced and was very well written. I really liked the main storyline. Royalty and curses, alchemy, and deadly weapons.
I recommend this book for people who like royal fantasy, ya fantasy with a little romance, alchemy, and curses.
A Beauty & the Beast retelling as part of a fae-inspired series (Entangled with Fae).
Even though it is a story of a young woman, who makes a deal with a mysterious, dark figure. It is still a fae story that takes place in an original setting with original characters.
I recommend this book to people who love fairy tale retellings, with hints of fantasy (fae) and (funny) romance.
The second book in the Bright Spear Trilogy. It continues the story of Sorcha, the Kelpie, and the golden fairy prince. I enjoyed the continuation of the series I started.
It is a fast-paced mystical story with sensual and loving moments. I recommend this book if you loved the first book and if you love stories about mythical creatures combined with the love for people.
Bring a cup of tea, sit back in a comfortable chair and follow Mrs. Pidgeon on her own investigation.
It was a comfortable and enjoyable book. It had a good pace and structure. Each chapter brought more information and the build-up was done nicely. I enjoyed unraveling the many layers of secrets and personal affairs the townspeople had. I enjoyed reading this comforting, relaxing murder mystery in a short amount of time.
A novel written in a poetic script, filled with raw emotions and stories. It made me reflect, wonder and hope.
A magical-realism novel that makes you wonder about what it is trying to tell us. Behind the layers of the poetic and the magical is something we all recognize. It is not just Josie's story that we read, but that of many. And probably our own in some way.
A re-telling of the fairy tale of Red Riding Hood.
The first book of a new series, Chronicles of Curses, started off great. I enjoyed the fantasy, fairy tale, romance novel. It told me a fairy tale, and it gave me originality, romance, and suspense.
I recommend this book to people who love fairy tale retellings and magical romance novels.
Prince of Foxes is an interesting start to a trilogy about Fae, the Bright Spear Trilogy. Based on a Celtic Fairy tale about Gold-Tree and Silver-Tree.
I recommend this book to people who are into Fae, fantasy-romance, and fairy tales.
Oh, Henry is a book I did not expect to like as much as I do now. It had dogs, romance, a mysterious murder mystery, and a cute main character who loves the dog park, chewing on stuff, and his owner Sarah. I loved it! And would recommend it to anyone! Especially dog lovers and romance/mystery readers.
I really enjoyed the concept and story behind the book. But I would have liked it to be longer, more in-depth about what is going on with her behavior and visions, and dreams.
It was written well and narrated very well into an audiobook. I do recommend this (audio)book. It is an interesting combination of magical realism and mystery that tackles crimes against women, loss and growing up.
Information Design Workbook, is a non-fiction book about information design, methods, interviews and case studies in the broad and interesting field of information design.
I recommend this book for people who are studying information design (or any other path in the UX design umbrella). Or for people like me, who are working in the field, and want to learn more.

A short Christmas audiobook. Perfect for the holidays to get or to stay in the holiday's ambiance.
It is a story about new beginnings, new friendships and is filled with the joy of happiness that Christmas brings. And as a bonus, there is also an adorable dog!
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the audiobook. #scribd #audiobook
Rating: 3,5 / 5
The story of young lovers and Christmas celebrations brought me joy and heart-warming feelings. However, I did not connect too much with the characters. I missed some personalities and character traits. It mostly felt like a fast-paced historical romance, with a steamy scene in the dark. Overall, the book left me with a warming, romantic feeling and a wish for Christmas.
Rating: 3.5 / 5
Married for Christmas is a romance novel, which I chose to read because it had Christmas in the title. I found it fast-paced, romantic, and steamy. Those create a good combination of elements for a good romance and a bonus: there is a dog. There are religious elements in it, which I didn't really mind, but it didn't help me either, to connect with the characters and the story.
My first #netgalley arc. An fantasy-adventure debut.
It was an interesting start of a fantasy series. The world is interesting, with different powers and parts of the world. The story follows two points of view. Both were interesting. Some parts were a bit slow for me, but overall it was interesting enough to keep reading it.
First read about Charlie and Nick through the graphic novel Heartstopper. Decided to read a novel by Alice Oseman. I really liked it. Although it covered difficult topic; the story, the characters and the writing style really spoke to me. I also want to read other books by Alice Oseman.

Listened to the audiobook via #scribd. It was a cute, romantic story. Loved the main characters and their story. Especially their own personal struggles and how they opened up to each other. I will listen to the next book in the Brown sisters series.

Absolutely loved it! A story about two schools where the fairy tales we all love and read come from.
