I'm Glad My Mom Died | Jennette McCurdy

I'm Glad My Mom Died is a very emotional and heartbreaking memoir by the author.

I recommend this book for people who have seen Jenette before as an actor and are interested in her life experiences or for people who enjoy reading memoirs and biographies (but only if you can handle sensitive topics).

I listened to the audiobook version through Scribd. It was very meaningful to me that the book was narrated by the author self.

In the Shadows of Humanity is an interesting novel about a futuristic world in which humans and various types of AI live. Some times the terms used were confusing and the storyline a bit uninteresting. It was an ok science fiction.

I enjoyed reading or listening to this thriller/mystery. I was interested in where they would go with the story, especially about Owen's past and the mysteries surrounding him. It kept me engaged until the end.

I recommend this book to people who like thrillers and mysteries.

Enjoyed this fun and steamy romance.

Two point of views, a missed chance at romance, years later the two main characters are throw into each other lives again: next to each other at work and even in their personal life, where they now have to live together.

Favorite romance novel of the year.

The second book, and the finale of the Clocktaur War.

It was a good finish to the story, packed with action and answers to some of the questions. The building was placed in a city this time, and there was a bit more clarity of what and who, and where.

Still loved the characters, their involvement, and their growth.

I am very intrigued by Eragon's story and very curious to see how it will continue. It's a good start to the series and has piqued my interest in the series and the various characters we met in the first book.

Very good fantasy novel, with great storytelling and interesting characters.

It had an interesting concept and the promise of delivering a good message, but towards the end, it lacked that factor that made me want to enjoy it to the fullest and read the other books in the series.

I would still recommend that you read the book for yourself and enjoy it. It is an interesting story and the characters are interesting as well. I may not have liked the third part or the end of the story, but I still read it.

Rating: 3.5 / 5.

Little Women, but underwater. The classic story of sisters, family, and love meets mermaids. I was immediately drawn to the story with its beautiful mermaid illustrations and colors. I just would have enjoyed it more if the underwater world was more than a retelling of the same objects and subjects from Little Women.

I have always been interested in history, and the life and end of the Romanovs. Helen Rappaport very thoroughly describes the lives of the four sisters, the Grand Duchesses. Through sources, letters and diaries we follow their lives from childhood to growing up as young ladies. The lives they led and the hardships they endured. It was a story full of emotions and acts from the past.

It is written through the eyes of the biologist, which makes some of the notes interesting, such as pointing out the stage of zombification, different types of weapons to use against them, and how it possibly all started.

As a fan of zombie stories, I was intrigued when I found this book. The title alone made me want to read it. A fun, quick read for zombie book fans.

I listened to the audiobook with a full cast of narrators. Each character had its own narration, which made it sound like I was listening to a theatre production. A Beauty & the Beast retelling as part of a fae-inspired series (Entangled with Fae).

Even though it is a story of a young woman, who makes a deal with a mysterious, dark figure. It is still a fae story that takes place in an original setting with original characters.

I recommend this book to people who love fairy tale retellings, with hints of fantasy (fae) and (funny) romance.

A novel written in a poetic script, filled with raw emotions and stories. It made me reflect, wonder and hope.

A magical-realism novel that makes you wonder about what it is trying to tell us. Behind the layers of the poetic and the magical is something we all recognize. It is not just Josie's story that we read, but that of many. And probably our own in some way.
