I really like the message that this story sets. Although, the way it is written is impactful it is hard to follow. Because of Charlie Gordon's illiteracy it is hard to understand what he is saying. Between words like "progris" and bad grammar, it is hard to relate on an intellectual level.

This series was very popular in my school about a year or so ago. I read these books to find out what all the rave was about. However, if I am being honest the series was just so-so. I feel like all the books are very slow moving and uneventful. Crossed was by far the best book out of the three and Reached would be my last pick. I'm not giving any specifics in case you have not read the series, but I am warning you now: they are not the best.
