Another book I enjoyed during my trip to Maine: Jim Nichols' terrific short stories about life along the coastal region. Jim really gets under the skin of his characters.

Now reading: Trending Into Maine by Kenneth Roberts (which includes discussion of his novel "Arundel"). Illustrations by the great N. C. Wyeth.
