Late update, since I finished this a while ago. But it was great! The book has a good mix of characters, world building, and mystery-driven plot. In sci-fi fashion, it has some big ideas it wants to share, but it doesn‘t hit you over the head with them, and the tone is never pompous or preachy. I believe this is the author‘s first novel, so I‘m excited to see where he goes next. #scifi #novel

It‘s been a while since I‘ve read much fiction, much less *new* fiction. Here‘s one I managed to pick up from the library before it shut down for the month. So far, I‘m liking it. It has a good mix of sci-fi, mystery, and religion.

What a doozie! As far as “bad” books go, this one was probably the most enjoyable. It has a childlike innocence that‘s earnest and lovable. I hate to even give it a rating, because it‘s not even on the same playing field as other books I read. But it‘s definitely not worth the Amazon price if you‘re just curious about it. #372pages

I was interested in this since I saw The Room, but the backstory is even crazier than I imagined. If you‘ve seen The Disaster Artist movie, then you probably know what to expect. There is so much more information in the book though. Tommy is revealed to be even more bizarre and unhinged than you could have expected. It‘s a fascinating story. The audiobook is great too.

Been on a MST3K kick, so I decided to download its new comic through my library. It‘s pretty fun so far!

For a 500+ page history book, this is surprisingly quick to read. A lot of topics are painted in broad strokes and simplified, but that‘s what you should expect from a book with such a massive breadth of information. It comes with suggestions for further reading on each chapter. Highly recommended for anyone interested on church history! (Pic taken of the final page.)
