Doing Time 3 1/2 🌟
Anne‘s House of Dreams
HP and the Goblet of Fire on audio
Notebook 6 and 7 of Lilli de Jong #lilliread
Jackaby for #LitsyAtoZ
1) Not sure why the tagged book came to mind but there it is.
2) I took a mental health day from work today and I just might stay in my jammies all day.
3) It will be just me, my pugster and books.
4) 3 All wonderful men whom I seldom get the chance to see.
#BookReport - Bailed on Wuthering Heights audio, couldn‘t keep my head in the game. Will try again later. Finished All You Can Ever Know. 3 🌟 and decided to keep reading Lilli de Jong for #Lilliread.
#WeeklyForecast - Hope to finish Tea, Tiramisu and Tough Guys on audio and finish Shotgun Lovesongs on Kindle which I am loving. Nickolas Butler is now a must read author for me. Starless sea arrives Tuesday and I know I will dive right in.
At the beginning of the year I challenged myself to read at least one non fiction choice a month. These are the ones I‘ve read so far. 2 more to go. What has been your favorite non fiction book this year? #GratefulReads
#BookReport for last week 1)Next Year in Havana was a well done audio book. Slow in a few spots but a good story and taught me so much about Cuban history. 3 1/2 🌟 2)Little Faith was so good. A story about a family and how loss can shake our faith. 4 🌟 3) Moloka‘i. I loved this book about the Leper colony on this Hawaiian island. 4 🌟 The books pictured are this week‘s #WeeklyForecast
@Cinfhen Shotgun Lovesongs in now on my tbr. 😀
#Gratefulreads. 1) Looking forward to reading both of these and 2) Sharon Kay Penman is a favorite author of my favorite genre. I read across several genres but historical fiction is my absolute favorite.
#WeeklyForecast. Finish the tagged audio book, Little Faith (Kindle) and Molokai (Print). Next up Wuthering Heights (Audio), All You Can Ever Know (Kindle) and Lilli De Jong (Print). That‘s the plan anyway. Love this idea @Cinfhen
I am very much a mood reader but in order to meet my goals by year end a little bit of planning might be in order. These are my 4 must reads for September. Two for #LitsyAtoZ Rose Under Fire and Under the Banner which also checks my non fiction box. Little Women for my classic pic and Wunderland for #LMPBC. I have a great reading month ahead. What will you be reading?
Conversation with self: “I do not need anymore books”. Repeat several times. “It won‘t hurt to look, you can be strong”. “Oh what the hell, it‘s only money”. Gotta love 50% off at B and N. And 4 books is just a small book haul, right?
Thank you for making 60 extra special with all the great cards, bookmarks and other fun goodies. You guys are the best! @BookNAround @robinb @Morr_Books @phatsallylee @Jas16 @Lovesbooks87 @BookwormAHN @Crazeedi
I am super excited about The Japanese Lover which came all the way from Malaysia. Thank you, Jessie! @erzascarletbookgasm
Thank you, Mary, for all the wonderful bookmarks! @mreads I love them all! And I love the stamps on the envelope. I think I will fashion a bookmark out of them. Thank you, Ryan, for hosting another great swap. I appreciate all you do for this community. @LibrarianRyan
Made some headway on my #BBRC challenge by revisiting favorite pictures books from when my kids were littles. They are now 30 and 35. Some like those pictured stood the test of time and others not so much. I still need D, E, F, N, Q, R, X and Y. I think I will visit the library to find newer releases for these.
Thanks @LibrarianRyan for the books. I am looking forward to reading them, especially On Earth and Freeing Finch. Thank you so much for keeping the swap from being a disappointment. I appreciate you!
I enjoyed this story intertwining the story of L. Frank and Maud Baum with the making of The Wizard of Oz. Looking forward to reading the comments of my #LMPBC group members after its journey hither and yon. It should arrive on Thursday @Crazeedi
@robinb @megnews @suvata
It wasn‘t necessary but it was thoughtful and kind. Thank you Ryan for the awesome book hugger. I have been thinking about trying to make one but this is perfect. Thank you for the extra goodies, too.
1) Someone trying to talk to me while I am reading
2) A bunch of friends kidnapped me from work for my 50th and took me away for the weekend. Best birthday ever.
3) My stepmom because she taught me how to find joy and beauty in every day.
4) Not sure if they are new Littens or just new to me: @Mamafoshay @TamTracy @bhmurray @Bookish_Katty
I had planned to take a break from swaps but this one caught my eye. Simple and fun especially as I love bookmarks, giving and receiving them. Thanks for hosting another fun swap @LibrarianRyan #BookmarkSwap
Is it too early to think about Christmas? My daughter and I have decided on a Harry Potter themed tree this year starting with these new Hallmark interactive ornaments. 🎄❄️🎄
On my way to see Wicked. I love this show so much!
#cozyinthesun. Not sure if A Christmas Promise is truly a cozy but here are 2 maybe 3 more finishes for this challenge. I am really enjoying a time out from reading heavier themed books. And since they are shorter and faster reads I might meet my Goodreads goal of 100 books after all. Happy Friday everyone!
1) I love breakfast for dinner, pancakes or waffles or an omelet with crispy hash browns.
2) nothing comes to mind
3) Absolutely every chance I get unless it would seem rude to others.
4) Dairy Queen used to have a Cappuccino Heath Blizzard that was a favorite. I miss it.
5) @Lady_Tigana_20 @phatsallylee @JamieLou and anyone else who wants to play
Thanks for the tag @Crazeedi @Eggs #wondrouswednesday
Have Kindle will travel. That an a Espresso Stout is how I wait for the fireworks at Salem's NW Cherry Festival.
#worst6reads. Except for the David Spade all are two stars meaning I read them but am not sure why. The Spade is OMG what was I thinking! one star because I suffered through it. I think I tried to broaden my horizon a little farther a field than I need to go.
#30JuneBooks #E for everything I read in June. I haven‘t finished The Library of Lost and Found but the day is young. The audiobook of Dread Nation was so good. I was pleasantly surprised because I usually stay clear of zombies. Loved Brain on Fire and Assassin‘s Apprentice. Everyone should read Between the World and Me. Gave me a whole new better informed perspective. I am sorry it sat on my shelf unread for so long.
Thank you Andrea for my #summersantagoespostal package. Little Fires Everywhere has been on myTBR forever and I can‘t wait to read it! I had not heard of June but it sounds interesting and I would love to do a buddy read with you...maybe August? Love the notebooks and bookmarks! Thank you for your kindness!
Thank you for hosting @BookishMarginalia I will post a pick when Litsy gets sorted out.
#30JuneBooks #PictureBook. Mine was The Little House, my son‘s was Alexander and my daughter‘s was Stellaluna. I will be revisiting these during @LibrarianRyan #Birthandbeyond reading challenge. Really looking forward to this trip down memory lane and to discovering new ones!
1) Lorraine who I met in first grade.
2) The Oregon coast. This pic is my most recent from this March at Yachats.
3) Roses remind me of my grandmother
4) Hope Never Dies

Thanks for the tag @Crazeedi @Eggs
The hubby picked a name from the magic pumpkin and the winner of debras5kgiveaway is @Mitch Congrats! 🎉 And thank you to everyone else who entered. Mitch, I will be working on getting your gift together but won‘t get it in the mail the week after next. I am out of town all next week at a tax convention. I will let you know when it‘s on its way.
