Atheist Manifesto
Atheist Manifesto: The Case Against Christianity, Judaism, and Islam | Michel Onfray, Jeremy Leggatt
1 post | 6 read | 1 to read
A provocative new study offers a controversial argument against the world's three major monotheistic religions and the role of religious fundamentalism in promoting intolerance, the next "life" to the detriment of the present, and submission to authority and condemns their contempt for reason, individual freedom, sexuality and pleasure, and women in general.

Interesting read to me. I like reading philosophical books like that to expand my own critical thinking: I keep some, and I leave some. Some points he makes in this book are definitely offering food for thoughts.
Michel Onfray is atheist, very much opposed to religions, and in this book, he of course criticizes the three monotheisms, mainly Christianity and Islam, and also presents thoughts on atheism (but not enough for me).
