pickThis was a great YA novel. There was mystery, history (Civil War), strong family bonds & friendship, and touched on the subject of racism in a way younger children can understand. Oh, and there was treasure! Our MC Louise accidentally wrecks into the next door library finding gold! (Don't we all wish we could live next door to the library?!)
Is it lame to show your own book? Oh, well. My Bible verse for the day said "With God, nothing is impossible." No other way this girl from Zollicoffer gets to be a published author. Feeling thankful.
Lou has never been one to take things sitting down.
