This is the tale of Joe Fernwright, a professional ceramic repair guy from a future Cleveland who is recruited by the alien Glimmung to travel to Sirius Five to help him raise a cathedral from an underwater ocean. I really enjoyed this one. The novel is short, only 144 pages, so the secondary characters aren't thoroughly fleshed out and the plot isn't complex, but there is so much humor! I laughed more during this book than any other PKD novel.

Mistermandolin He‘s a very funny writer. Folks sometimes talk about what a ā€visionary‘ he was, and it‘s true, but I love the writing style too. Galactic Pot Healer is up with his best, for me. Great pick. 4y
